Hello! Divakar here. đź‘‹
I love building products that solve real problems—from clean and simple user interfaces to the backend systems that make everything work.
Even though I enjoy working on the backend the most, I like building the whole product. For me, a good product isn't just fast or scalable. It should be easy to use, reliable, and something people actually enjoy using.
These days, I'm spending a lot of time exploring AI applications, authentication systems, and real-time architectures. I also enjoy digging into performance issues, understanding how things work behind the scenes, and making them faster, cleaner, and more secure. Whether it's a database query, a protocol, or a small security bug, I like figuring out what's happening and how to make it better.
An AI-powered GitHub application that reviews pull requests, manages repositories, and automates developer workflows.
- Built asynchronous workflows using Inngest for GitHub webhooks and background processing.
- Integrated AI-powered code reviews with OpenRouter and semantic repository search using Pinecone.
- Implemented authentication, subscription billing, and a feature-based architecture for scalability.
A production-ready OAuth2 and OpenID Connect authorization server for secure authentication and third-party integrations.
- Implemented the complete OAuth2 Authorization Code Flow with OpenID Connect support.
- Designed secure authentication using RSA-signed JWTs, JWKS, email verification, and password reset flows.
- Built a modular backend with Express, Drizzle ORM, PostgreSQL, and reusable validation middleware.
A real-time location tracking application that securely streams live user locations on an interactive map.
- Combined Socket.IO and Apache Kafka to build scalable real-time location updates.
- Secured both REST APIs and WebSocket connections using OAuth2 authentication from Fortify.
- Designed an event-driven architecture with authenticated sockets and message-driven communication.
A collaborative real-time checkbox application where every connected user sees state changes instantly.
- Used Redis as a persistent state store with Pub/Sub for real-time synchronization.
- Built bidirectional communication using Socket.IO for instant updates across clients.
- Designed a lightweight event-driven backend with efficient shared state management.
